I live in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. We have a rich background in American History,
mainly the Revolutionary War.

Lineages;
Many of our Farish and Mims family were Doctors, Surgeons, Dentists, and wealthy land owners.
Of the outstanding notibles, two members stick out in my mind especially. Those being,
David Mims, the Regulator, whom organized the Regulators and exchanged the first blows of the
American Revolution, a full ten years before the so called "start" of the Revolutionary War with England.
Secondly, William Stamps Farish, founder of Humble Oil Company, which later was
known as Exxon Oil.
William, friend of the Rockefellers, was also friend and financial advisor to the George Bush family.
There was also much controversy about the Farish and Bush family, prior to the beginning of World War 2.

Also: our Mims family had, in it's lineage, the great
outlaw of his time, Jesse Woodson James, who married
my great-aunt, Zerelda (Zee) Mims. She was also Jesse's cousin!
There was recently a new movie out at the rental stores entitled "The Great American Outlaw"
which is a story about Jesse and also Zerelda.
